These were taken a few weeks ago when it was a bit warmer. You wouldn't catch me out splashing in the rain anymore. The weather has turned.
I've heard "freezing rain" is common in IL. Rain that freezes to your window an inch thick. Rain that creates sheets of ice over the roads. Rain that's not fun to be in. I'm bracing for it.
But this was fun rain.

Haha freezing rain... oh man. Yeah, freezing rain is the reason that my school district in NY planned 5 "snow" days into the school calendar. That stuff'll make the roads treacherous. But on the bright side, get your camera out when it comes, because there really is nothing quite as beautiful as everything being covered in glistening ice once the sun comes back out-- especially the trees. So pretty!
Hey! We're totally going to be around for Christmas. We're not going anywhere. And we would love to meet up with you guys! I sure hope there's more Baliwood in our future. Haha.
