About 2 weeks ago I finished putting together a coat rack. Hooray!
About a month ago I went with my friend, Amber, to a PACA salvage yard and found a solid pine board with molding for only $2. I think it once was a mantle or part of a door frame, or something. It has been painted an orangish-yellow color but because it's old the paint has chipped and aged. I like it.
I went to Hobby Lobby and got 5 hooks (3 are 2 pronged and 2 are 3 pronged), Lowe's and got nails and hanging hardware and went to work with the power drill/driver. I am so happy it turned out. It was my first time using a power tool and luckily no one got hurt. Now our jackets and hats are right at our finger tips as we run out the door.

It turned out SO great! You are a great decorator! Love it. And isn't hobby lobby the BEST!?
Love it! I'm impressed with your power tool usage. I have been wanting to use power tools so badly lately, but I'm still too scared I will wreck a) my project, b) myself, or c) the power tools. Haha. Maybe one day...
Ooh! I like it! :)
