To Pass the Time

Last Saturday we spent the day with Henry's friends, the Burtons, Jack and Alaster. Their parents spent the day traveling to and from St. Louis to attend the temple.

Getting to the temple for us is not what it used to be: a 10 minute walk up the hill. It's now a 3 hour drive to St. Louis, 2-ish hours there, and a 3 hour drive back. A whole day trip. It's nice, though, one couple gets at least 8 whole hours alone together, and then another couple gets to be creative at home!

Well, we were creative for the first 7 hours, including a nap, and then we let the Orpheum Kids Museum take up the rest of the time. We used the bus to get there, and that was . . . exciting. But whoa, the kids were in for a treat when we got there.

There were reptiles, bugs, play houses, puzzles, a ship with secret passages, trains, mirrors, tool kits, a ball pit, water systems . . . it was a blast.

Henry's new found love--TRAINS. He has his concentration face on.

At the end of the day, some were tired . . .

and some were not.
