A box car

This kid loves cars.
He loves to play in cars.
I may have made the mistake of letting him play in our car because now he hates to ride in it.
I really have to fight him every time.
All he wants to do is play.
It was nice, though, when we had the windows rolled down and a breeze and I just read in the passenger seat while he sat in the driver seat and pretended to drive.
But now it's getting too hot to be playing in cars.

So, instead of playing in real cars we are playing in cardboard box cars.
He pretends he's driving and does all the great sound effects, "beep beep, vroom vroom, reeer."

Isn't amazing how boys are just drawn to cars. Josh and Caleb both love cars.

I am going to steal this box car idea! He loves cars. He loves his lightening McQueen. How funny.

Haha! What a fun boy! Oh Henry, I miss him... and his fun parents. :)

And I have to ask... what is that pretty little blue contraption in the background? Is that a magazine/book rack made from chair backs or something? I'm really intrigued.

P.S. Thanks for all the super nice comments you leave about Olivia. I love reading them. :)

Hyrum loves playing in boxes, too, except they're not cars, they're hot air balloon baskets.

It's nice when they can use their imaginations, huh?
