Cookies?

Almost every morning and afternoon Henry wakes up and asks, "Cookies?" And he won't let it go. He has the memory of an elephant.

A while ago I decided that I didn't want to deprive him of the really good things in life like cookies and an occasionally brownie, thinking that I would feed him healthy food all the while and for a special occasion we'd eat a treat. I soon realized babies don't have the common desire to be healthy. They just know what tastes good no matter the time of day.

That's where "banana cookies" come in, and any other thing I want him to eat turns into "____ cookies". Sometimes coupling any word with "cookie" will get him to try it. Only for a couple bites, but a couple's better than none, right?
