This year I decided to make a wreath out of candy corns. I was inspired by Woman's Day magazine. I only saw the magazine at the store and figured out my own way to make it, which wasn't hard, but what I didn't realize was that the wreath would attract . . . ants. And we all know how much I hate ants.
Sadly, after hanging for only a week the wreath had to come down. It rained one night and although I sprayed the wreath with a clear protective sealant the ants came out and crawled all over the wreath and front door (they are machines I tell you, supernatural machines). Talk about spooky Halloween decor.
Hopefully in a few days I'll post about the other Halloween decor I'm working on . . . if I finish it. I sure love this time of year. The red leaves, cool breeze, the pumpkins, squashes, gourds, and all the yummy treats. Stay tuned for our costumes and other Halloween festivities.

That's really cool looking. I'm sorry the ants attacked...
