This year we celebrated Memorial Day at Clinton Lake, about 45 minutes from Champaign. We played and picnicked on the beach, enjoying the sun and the lake waves. Henry loved it, especially playing in the sand--or dirt. This year we applied lots of sunscreen on Todd so he wouldn't burn like he did last year. Remember that?
Oh, wait, maybe I didn't tell the sunburn story in that post. Well, that was our last beach trip, and it did result in a sunburn so bad Todd went to the ER. He has a permanent white hand print on his back where he slapped one handfuls worth of sunscreen and the rest of his back burned as bright as a tomato.
Good times.
